Pro is pure style — your watts decide the race, never your gear choice. Group rides, every official world and your rider profile stay free for everyone. Cancel anytime.

What free actually includes

Every ride, every world, every sensor. Upload a GPX and ride that exact road with your smart trainer matching the gradient, in any of the official worlds or on your own route in Realistic mode. Host a group ride and share the link, or join someone else's. Race the ghost of your last ride. The free tier is the whole product working — it is capped only on how many routes you keep in a saved library.

What Pro changes, and what it will never change

Pro is about who your rider is and who you get to race. Ghosts from your whole archive rather than your last ride, your pick of world for your own routes, the character gallery, kit finishes and colours, golden-hour light, an unlimited library. What it will never be is an advantage: no purchasable speed, no equipment meta, no drafting off a recording. If a feature would let money beat legs, it does not ship.

Common questions

Is Cycloscape free?

Yes, and not in a trial sense. Riding is free and unlimited: upload any GPX, ride it as a 3D world with your own power, use every official world, and join or host group rides. Pro Rider is optional and changes who your rider is and what you can race against — never whether you can ride.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Cycloscape runs in the browser on Chrome or Edge, on Windows or macOS. Your trainer and sensors connect over Web Bluetooth from the same page, so there is nothing to download, no launcher and no separate account for a desktop app.

Does paying make me faster?

No, and that is deliberate. Nothing you can buy changes your speed: there are no faster frames, no aero upgrades, no equipment meta. Your watts decide the race. A Ghost is a recording of watts already spent, so it can never tow you either.

Can I ride my own routes?

That is the point of the product. Export a GPX from Strava, Garmin Connect, Komoot or anywhere else, upload it, and Cycloscape builds that exact road as a 3D world — real distance, real gradients, real climbs, with your smart trainer's resistance following the profile.

Do I need Pro to ride with other people?

No. Group rides are free for everyone, both joining one and hosting your own and sharing the link. Streaming a ride to your own YouTube channel is the one broadcasting feature that is Pro.

What are Ghosts?

The rider you line up against. Pro lets you race any ride in your archive rather than only your last one: your best time on that road, a ride from a year ago, or the fastest rider who has ever ridden it. Connect Strava and your archive is full from the first day instead of building up over months.

What happens to my routes if I cancel?

They stay yours and stay rideable. Cancelling drops you to the free library limit for saving NEW routes; it never deletes what you have already saved, and it never stops you riding anything. You can cancel from your settings at any time, and an annual plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

What does the Founder price actually lock in?

The price, for as long as you keep the plan. Founders pay the launch rate every year and it never rises, plus a Founder badge on their profile. It is a limited number of slots at launch, not a one-off lifetime purchase — the plan still renews annually.
