I'm Albert Hurtado, a 47-year-old amateur cyclist and Ironman finisher based in Barcelona. I've spent most of my adult life on a bike — outdoors when the weather cooperates, and on a smart trainer through every Catalan winter.
That indoor half is where Cycloscape started. Over the years I rode, tested and picked apart nearly every indoor cycling simulator out there — Zwift, Rouvy, MyWhoosh, Wahoo SYSTM — comparing how each one handles power, gradient, sensor pairing and the feel of a real climb. I kept a running set of notes on what each got right and where each fell short.
The thing none of them did was let me ride my own routes — the roads I actually know, the cols I've suffered on — as immersive 3D worlds. So I built it. Cycloscape turns any GPX file into a world you ride with your own power, faithful to the real distance, grade and climbs of the route.
The guides on this site come out of that same obsession: plain-English, tested explanations of smart-trainer setup, Bluetooth and ANT+, and honest comparisons between platforms — written by someone who has actually ridden all of them, not marketing copy.
